US singer Ryan Adams calls Australia ‘worst country ever’ after tour meltdown
Grammy nominee blames medical condition for ‘train wreck’ Melbourne show walk-off, suggesting it may have been his last overseas gig

Adams, a seven-time Grammy nominee, later launched a broadside at the host nation, according to news.com.au, which cited a now-deleted post by the singer.
He reportedly stated: “You are the worst people, and you know it and the best you can go is copy Americans and UK culture,” after labelling Australia “the worst country ever, every time to play”.
The musician’s behaviour in Melbourne was strongly criticised by concertgoers, with one fan writing on social media: “What a disaster.”

The fan continued: “Such a waste of the incredible sound quality at Hamer Hall. Nothing about the show seemed to go right, and he was so incredibly dismissive of the audience.”
