Except that a few days ago, they briefly dropped to $169. Maybe they'll do so again, or maybe not. The thing is, if you want noise-cancelling headphones, you should probably just ignore the $169 price and get them anyway.We just recently re-tested all the best noise-cancelling headphones, and rated the Bose QuietComfort Headphones as the best option under $250, because they offer class-leading noise cancellation that's basically as good as the models that cost nearly twice as much. We did direct comparisons against all the biggest competitors, in real-world environments, and these punch so far above their weight.They're better at blocking sound than the Sony WH-1000XM5 right now, and are notably cheaper.
